Meet Gillian Schofield…
I’m originally from Cheshire, which explains my eagerness to smile and say hello to every passing stranger 🤣 I now live in Somerset with my partner, three children, beloved dog, Bodhi and annoying cat, Rodney.
All I’ve ever wanted to do is write, yet I've dabbled in various things over the years; opened a toy shop, worked as a freelance hairdresser, home educated my kids who have additional needs, but I kept coming back to my love of the written word.
When I discovered copywriting as a career, I didn't hesitate. Finally, I could write for a living.
Home educating children with varying needs taught me to communicate effectively with people who struggle to express themselves, think outside the box, and stay calm under pressure.
What drives me? Creating succinct, intelligent copy and content that gets results without resorting to pushy sales tactics or long-winded explanations. Cos I am just not down for that crap!
I won't be everyone's cup of tea, and that's fine. But if you want someone who understands both sides of the business equation and can craft messages that actually resonate with real people, we might be a good match.
Meet Adam Jones…
I'm from Wolverhampton, which probably explains why I have no filter between my thoughts and what comes out of my mouth.
I fell into insurance sales during a gap year and spent years getting sworn at on cold calls until I discovered LinkedIn. Since then, I've generated over £1 million in sales and helped hundreds of businesses do the same.
What drives me? Honesty and doing what you say you'll do. What pisses me off? People in this industry who prey on desperate business owners with magic solutions that don't work.
When I'm not working, you'll find me travelling around in my motorhome, exploring new places and following Wolves (which means being perpetually disappointed).
Do I still wonder if I'm good enough? All the time. Then the results prove I am.
Some say I have an ego. But no idea where they get that from!
One of the things that made our partnership a no-brainer was our shared strong values and ethics in business, and the fact that we both actually lived by them!
